From a successful career in graphic designing to a creative and passionate entrepreneur – this is the journey of our principle designer & founder Ketki Torane. She has love for travelling and on her travels to the remote areas of Rajasthan, Kashmir & South India- she explored different fabrics and started sourcing to help the artisans and the weavers community. When Ketki started Craft Village from home in 2011, she started making khun cushion covers , trays and coasters for herself and her friends and family. An immensely positive support from loved ones and enthusiastic response - we started Craft Village through exhibitions and corporates.
Exhibitions gave a good repetitive customer base and it spread through word of mouth and Facebook. We have now shifted to a much bigger space which we call our flagship store in Pune but the small space became an integral part of the brand, there are many memories of that space that will always be cherished.
